Refund Policy

Because every product we sell is a digital download, our refund policy works differently from a physical store. Here's exactly where we stand, and what we'll always do to make things right.

01 Why digital products are different

When you buy a physical product and it doesn't work out, you can send it back unopened. A digital product can't be "returned" in the same way — once a file is downloaded, a Notion template is duplicated, or a Canva link is opened, the product has effectively already been delivered and used. This is standard across the digital products industry, and it's why most template stores, course platforms, and digital marketplaces operate on a no-refund or limited-refund basis.

That said, we believe a fair refund policy should still exist — just shaped around the reality of digital goods rather than copying a policy meant for physical retail.

02 Our refund stance

As a general policy, we do not offer refunds simply because you changed your mind, found a free alternative, or no longer need the product after downloading it. This is consistent with standard practice for digital downloads industry-wide.

However, we stand firmly behind the quality of what we sell. If something is genuinely wrong with your purchase, we will always make it right — through a fix, a replacement, or in some cases a refund. See below for exactly when that applies.

03 When we will fix, replace, or refund

✓ We will help if
  • The file you received is corrupted, broken, or won't open
  • The product is significantly different from what was described or previewed on our demo page
  • A core feature shown in the product description or demo doesn't actually work
  • You received the wrong product due to an error on our end
  • You paid but never received delivery within 48 hours and we're unresponsive to follow-ups (extremely unlikely, but covered)
✕ We generally can't help if
  • You simply changed your mind after downloading the product
  • You found a similar product elsewhere for less
  • You're unfamiliar with the free tool required (e.g. Canva, Notion) and decide not to learn it
  • You purchased the wrong product by mistake — though email us, we'll often still help
  • Significant time has passed since delivery (see Section 5)

Our real-world approach: we read every email personally, and we'd rather keep a customer happy than win an argument over a policy technicality. If something feels unfair about your situation, tell us — we genuinely want to hear it.

04 How to request help

1
Email us with the subject line "Order issue" and include the product name and the email address used for your order.
2
Describe the specific problem — for example, "the ZIP file won't extract" or "the Notion template link shows an error."
3
If possible, include a screenshot of the issue. This helps us resolve it faster, often within the same conversation.
4
We'll respond personally — usually within 24 hours — with a fix, a corrected file, or next steps.

05 Response and resolution timeframe

Please report any issue with your purchase within 7 days of delivery. This gives us a reasonable window to fix genuine problems while reflecting the nature of digital goods, which can't be "returned" indefinitely. Requests made well outside this window will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but are less likely to be eligible for a refund.

06 Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you experience an issue with your order, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider. As a small, independently operated store, chargebacks carry a disproportionate cost and can result in your access to the product being revoked while the dispute is reviewed. In almost every case, emailing us directly resolves the issue faster and more fairly than a formal dispute process.

07 Custom orders

For custom-built products (commissioned templates, spreadsheets, or tools made specifically for you), refund eligibility is discussed and agreed upon before work begins, since custom work involves time and effort that can't be "undone" the way a pre-made product can. Any custom order terms will be confirmed with you directly over email before payment.

08 Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy as our business grows and as we introduce automated checkout systems in the future. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

09 Contact us

Had an issue with a purchase, or unsure if your situation qualifies? Just ask — we'd rather talk it through than have you guess.
